Guada Muica (niece @Cerati): English

“I join the countless greetings to Gus, my uncle Gus, who always makes me laugh, who played and played with me when I was little, that I threw into the pool at the deep end when he couldn’t swim, and I almost died!, but was the one who taught me to swim! and that made me lose the fear …  the line that we were going on  a canoe ride and ended up being a mega roller coaster!, and also nearly died of fright but he taught me what adrenaline is … which spoiled me, that he always inspires me with his art, which gave me many of the most unforgettable moments of my life, I drink it, his health, for my great family for you and for our faith! ”

(Luz Miranda)

His fans haven’t lost hope and from social networks ready to send congratulations on his birthday the Argentine songwriter Gustavo Cerati, who is lying in a hospital bed for more than a year due to a stroke and today is 52 years old.

On May 15, 2010, the founder of Soda Stereo felt bad at the end of a concert in Caracas, Venezuela, and he was admitted to a clinic in that country, where he remained until he was transferred to Buenos Aires on 7 June of the same year.

In response, the fans who remain to his health and any report that comes out in the media, summoned all his followers in Latin America through the Facebook page “Gift for Gustavo” for the day of his birthday together to listen and sing at the 20:15 hours about the theme “Bridge”. (the song Puente)

Highlighted on that page with this song and singing it – unifying together, they have a fervent wish that their  idol is awakening. “We state as a gift as he gave us his poetic lyrical magic,” said the makers of this page. In the previous Cerati birthday, fans motivated by social networks using a green ribbon as a symbol of hope.

This year, for the second birthday that the former Soda Stereo is staying  in one of the rooms of the ALCLA Clinic will be held this massive action that transcend the virtual, to hear Cerati’s music in Latin America. (my note: and all over the World)

From May 15, 2010, after suffering a stroke, Gustavo is still lying in a hospital bed and under mechanical ventilation, just waiting for the miracle to come out of that state.

According to the doctor, Cerati suffered a stroke in the left cerebral hemisphere and secondary brain stem damage. (Luz Miranda)

“Mi hijo quiere vivir, y va a vivir.

Gustavo is, but we don’t know where his brain is, “said Cerati’s mother

In the birthday number 52 Gustavo Cerati, his mother Lilian Clark said the family “see some hope” in the recovery of the popular artist who more than a year had a bad stroke. “Gustavo lips move, he feels, reacts, and even shed tears.”

“For the little things that give common ground. When you see the weight taken by the artist, is impressive. My son has been brainwashed with the rock, from his youth. One of the things that I thank my son is that I am connected with the youth. ”

“My son wants to live and will live. We have to wait it is a long and difficult illness. I have faith. We note reactions. Move your legs, hands.” “We are very excited when they go to sing, Spinetta and Mollo, I notice movement.”

In an interview with “El club de la tarde”, Radio Mitre, the singer’s mother felt that “there are small steps, there is no decline in his status” and that they’re still performing “a series of special studies which see why he reacts to certain stimuli “and not others.

“I have a deep faith and I know that he will come out.It never entered my head to say ‘enough with this suffering. “Gustavo is, but we don’t know where his brain is, “she lamented.

Lilian Clark Gustavo Cerati said He was also being treated with music therapy “God will always say” you have done this wonder of the human body, so help me, let me die in peace. “
