FAB
This will be the first time I get to see these two perform live; I’m beside myself…
I’ll be off down the M40 towards London, as not sure where else they are playing so off to the Barbican again I saw Ute Lemper there last year
I miss London as the music scene is great, but me blasting down the motorway in my Zed is so worth it
I adore this duo, I feel they were made for each other musically, they so complement each other.
I have quite a few of Lanegan albums Whiskey For The Holy Ghost, The Winding Sheet, Bubblegum, Field Songs and I’ll Take Care Of You He was also in Screaming Trees, Soulsavers Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins and Isobel has brought out two solo albums that I know of Amorino and Milkwhite Sheets (not counting all the stuff with The Gentle Waves and Belle and Sebastian). That should keep you busy for a while as I haven’t even got to their collaboration together yet!
Good News there is a new album coming out called Hawk…, I’m not sure if it’s even been released yet..will go to local Record Shop to track it down ….just found it… release date 24th August See here
I love both their albums Ballad of the Broken Seas, Sunday at Devil Dirt and their ep Ramblin’ Man, just buy all of them!
