Interconnectedness with everything and being at peace and balanced within
This for me (both the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes (23rd Sept this year)) has always been a pivotal time of the year as the Sun enters Libra.  The day and night are the same and in balance, before the seasons change again from Summer to Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and from Winter to Spring in the Southern Hemisphere.
This Summer/Autumn has been a challenging yet exciting and sometimes sad time for me, there have been many unforseen changes and adjustments, over the last few months. Transiting Pluto in Capricorn squaring Saturn in Libra and now the Sun is joining them (for a little while.) There has been a lot of soul searching , tough decisions and  lots of airy activity going on. While the Sun was still in Virgo, lots of planning, attention to detail and sheer hard work had to be done…and it was!
So the Sun moving into Libra has eased up on things a little, it trines my moon so my day to day life will be easier and communication should be a breeze now that Mercury in Virgo isn’t retrograde anymore ( September 12, 2010, when the Winged Messenger reaches his direct station. At this time he halts and begins his return to direct motion through the zodiac.) Everything finally straightens out on September 27, as he passes the point where he first turned retrograde apart)  see Astrology.com website for more info. Getting your ducks in a row while Mercury is in Virgo… everything one step at a time, bit by bit. Time for organisation and putting ideas/changes into place.
The shifting seasons, things always changing and moving forward, change is inevitable and being a Taurean (I’ve got a mixture of 5 planets /asteroids in Taurus) sometimes that takes me a little time to get used to. Thank god for my Moon in Gemini and Venus in Aries! to help move things forward when I’m a little stuck. All the Taurean energy can be really good as after the Geminian/Arian energy has ran out of juice, the Taurus energy keeps on going, this is helpful in my life as I’m very patient (not so much as I am not savvy to what’s going on) I value people and things (not just material things, though they are nice) The value I give something is important as if I do I stick with it, no matter what.
It’s important especially when in some sense the world is going “to pot” we actually still have values and principles to live by, that make sense and give us meaning. To love and cherish is really important and being that way is my way forward. I like this time even though it hasn’t be the easiest, as there is a subtle shift, energetically at this time of year, I’ve noticed it on quite a few levels, it’s actually exciting a call to adventure and freedom. It can be frightening too and acknowledging the fear and doubt in me through dealing with the AGFLAP and welcoming how I feel exactly as it is, is helping me find levels of intimacy and love I’ve never experienced before. I then move into Courageousness Acceptance and Peace. (CAP) Great place to be : )
It’s so easy in this life to make a remark, post something on facebook, update a twitter page, post a blog, send a text or email everything is so instant nowadays and in some ways also so throwaway and fickle  including culture, fads and even how we feel.
I have a urge to write proper letters by hand and post them. Spend time with friends over a cup of tea and cake (that I baked myself.. yes I bake great cakes and cupcakes) Sing songs loudly. To have the time to do these things to spend some precious time, being with the people you love and realising how special that time really is. This year I have done that with 2 people I love very much and I’ll have that in my heart always. This stuff is important as that is what memories are made from and you can’t trade them for anything.
Talking about hearts, the heart of Gustavo Cerati and the celebration of his music; the coming of the  Spring Equinox in Argentina (where he is at the Fleni Clinic) recovering from a stroke.
The coming of the Spring Equinox brings hope, light and balance at this difficult time.

The equinox is known as one of the eight holy days or Sabbaths celebrated by every culture around the world
The Autumn Equinox marks a specific time that we have to balance the shadow and light within ourselves.   A great Native American Elder Chief Black Elk once shared with his people…

The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of the people when they realise their relationship, their oneness with the Universe and all its powers, and when they realise that at the centre of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this centre is really everywhere, it is within each of us
